How to Turn Off Display of Graphics in Internet Explorer 6

To turn off display of graphics in Internet Explorer 6:

  1. Go to the Tools menu and click the Internet Options.
    2. Internet Options menu in IE6
  2. Select the Advanced tab.
  3. Look for the Multimedia section and clear the Show pictures check box.
    4. Do not show pictures in IE6
  4. Click the OK button.

From now on the images will no longer be displayed in Internet Explorer. Instead alternate text will be shown.
