- Click the Tools menu and then select Options.
- Click the Edit tab.
- Look for Settings and then check or uncheck the option Allow cell drag and drop.
- Also, click the option Alert before overwriting cells under it if you want to be warned before any data is overwritten,
- Click the OK button.
