How to Set a Different Home Page in Internet Explorer 7

  1. Go to the Tools menu and then click the Internet Options.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. set different home page
  4. In the Home page section, type the URL of the web page you want to set as the Home page.
  5. If the webpage you want to set as Home page is already open, you can click Use Current, Use Default, or Use Blank buttons.
  6. Then, click the OK button.

  4. @Noman – You mean how to change the URL for the “Use Default” button?
    That can be done through the Windows registry, locate the following key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN
    In here you’ll find an entry named “Default_Page_URL”, which points to the microsoft site. They use a parameter in the URL to localize the MSN site for you.
    If you change this value, you can change the default home page.
    Hope this is what you were looking for.
