How to Apply a Digital Signature to a Macro Project in MS Word XP

  1. From the Tools menu, select Macro, and then click Visual Basic Editor.
  2. From the View menu, click Project Explorer.
  3. In Project Explorer, click the project to be signed.
  4. From the Tools menu, click Digital Signature.
  5. To use the current signature, click OK.
  6. To use a different signature, click Choose under Sign as. Select the desired certificate, and then click OK to exit the Select Certificate dialog box.
  7. Click OK.
