How to Create a Flowchart in MS Word XP

  1. On the Drawing toolbar, select AutoShapes, click Flowchart and then select the desired shape.
  2. In the document, click where the shape should be placed. Repeat to add more shapes.
  3. On the Drawing toolbar, select AutoShapes, click Connectors, and then select the desired connector line.
  4. Click from one shape to another to connect them with connector lines.
  5. To add text to shapes, right-click a shape and then click Add Text.
  6. Type the desired text.
