How to Create a Folded Booklet in MS Word XP

  1. Click File menu, and then select New.
  2. Select Blank Document option in the New Document task pane.
  3. Go to File menu and click Page Setup option.
  4. Click the Margins tab.
  5. Look for Pages, use the down arrow of Multiple pages field to show list and then select Book fold option.
  6. Use the down arrow of Sheets per booklet field to show list and then select the number of pages to be included in the booklet. Note: If the document exceeds the number defined in this field, MS Word XP prints the document as multiple booklets.
  7. Set the desired margins for the different headers on odd pages and even pages (as you might want in a book layoutfields under Margins.
  8. Type or select a value in the Gutter field for additional space along the fold.
  9. Click OK button.
