How to Create a Hyperlink to a Specific Location in another Document or Web Page in MS Word XP

  1. Select the text or graphic to display as the hyperlink.
  2. From the Insert menu, click Hyperlink.
  3. Under Link To, click Existing File or Web Page.
  4. Locate and select the document or Web page to link to.
  5. To go to a specific section in a target document containing bookmarks, click Bookmark. Select the desired bookmark and then click OK.
  6. For Web pages, the Internet address can be directly typed in the Address field.
  7. Click OK.
