Have you tried Internet Explorer 8 already? It’s in beta 2, but it can be installed and used already. If you did and did not like it, you probably uninstalled IE8 and reverted back to IE7. If that is the case, you might want to block IE8 from being installed by Windows update when the final version is released!
Maybe you have installed Internet Explorer 8, or IE8 as it is mostly referred to. If you like it, fine, but if you are not ready to leave IE8 Beta 2 on your system, you need to uninstall it. That should be simple, but just in case you have problems uninstalling IE8, try these steps.
