The following video illustrate how you can expand the function of Excel 2007 by downloading a free plug-in from Microsoft to enable Excel to “Save As” excel files into PDF format automatically.
Once the plug-in has been installed, this “Save As PDF” function is also now available for Word 2007.
Note: This plug-in is only for Office 2007 programs.
Sharing documents is often necessary to let others read what you have written. One of the most popular methods is creating documents with MS Word, which results in a .doc file. But if you are sharing a MS Word document and are not sure that the reader has MS Word installed, or you don’t want the reader to make modifications, you might want to use a different format. The Portable Document Format (PDF) is very suited for this purpose and can be created directly from within MS Word.
