How to Erase Files from Your CD in MS Windows XP Professional

  1. Go to the Windows Start menu, click the option My Computer, and then double-click the CD recording drive. Note: Make sure that the CD for which content will be erased is erasable.
  2. Look for the CD Writing Tasks section, select the Erase this CD-RW option.
  3. Then the CD Writing Wizard appears. Click the Next button to erase the files on the CD.
  4. Click the Finish button.
