How to Use Cleartype for Screen Fonts in MS Windows XP Professional

  1. Go to the Windows Start menu, click the Control Panel option, and then double-click the Display icon.
  2. Choose the Appearance tab and then select the Effects button.
  3. In the Effects dialog box, check the option, Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts.
  4. Use the drop-down list to select ClearType option.
  5. Click the OK button twice.
